We are a friendly traditional Devonshire Pub, on the Newton Abbot to Totnes Road, with stunning views of the moor from our Courtyard Garden.
First licensed in 1703, our pub which is still sympathetic to its authentic heritage, has a wooden floor, oak beams and a cosy log fire! We serve our real ales straight from the casks behind the bar.
Our restaurant serves fresh homemade food, made by our Chefs Mark and Debbie and the menu ranges from Steak and Kidney Suet Pudding (for which we are famous), to Steaks and Seafood Pancakes. Our daily Specials often include freshly caught dishes, such as Seabass and Whole Baked Mackerel.
We have a large car park at the rear of the building and once parked you walk through our lovely Courtyard Garden to enter the Pub.
Our restaurant is very popular and busy and we do endeavour to feed as many people as possible! If you wish to eat and haven't made a booking, please make yourself known at the bar on arrival - hopefully we will be able to accommodate you! To see our menu click here!
Dogs are always welcome! So if you have a dog, and wish to bring them along, then please do so, we love dogs - but please make sure that they are well behaved and friendly!
We look forward to Welcoming you to The Two Mile Oak Inn.
