Charity Work
There are so many different requests and demands on a pub each year to support different individual charities, rather than spread out our donations, we decided that we would nominate a different charity for each year.
One of the ways that we raise funds is through our Charity Book Shelf...If you have unwanted books at home - we would love them! When you visit the the pub, please feel free to pick up any of the books on the shelf , we just ask for a 50p donation per book to the charity.
we supported the Children's Hospice South West and raised £282.91
IN OUR FIRST YEAR
THIS YEAR (2010)
we are now raising funds for the Alzhemier's Society. All donations will help to support their work, which includes research into dementia and supporting dementia sufferers and their families.
